ROLE SUMMARY

As a key member of the Maintenance and Partner teams, the Maintenance Reliability Specialist (MRS) is responsible for the creation and upkeep of all Equipment IDs, hierarchies, and preventive maintenance schedules within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

This role involves managing various maintenance-related modifications, gathering data, and ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place. The MRS also guarantees the integrity of drawings through redlines and updates to the relevant documentation control.

This position offers technical assistance to all maintenance, engineering, and regulatory roles, fostering strong working relationships with colleagues across all departments and levels.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop optimized preventive maintenance schedules, tasks, spare parts, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Establish new position identifications and hierarchical relationships. Collect all pertinent position nameplate data and calibration parameters.
  • Oversee various maintenance-driven changes, collect data, and ensure proper documentation and approvals (DACs, QTS, etc.).
  • Provide technical support to all maintenance, engineering, and regulatory roles. Act as a liaison and cultivate strong working relationships with colleagues across all departments and levels.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance and engineering teams to identify maintenance inefficiencies and create streamlined work practices.
  • Ensure drawing integrity through redline updates and maintain appropriate documentation control.
  • Prepare proper documentation for impact assessments, periodic reviews, and changes to the CMMS.
  • Initiate Incident Database (3i) reports for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) non-compliance issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

Possess comprehensive, advanced, broad, or in-depth specialized technical, manufacturing, or maintenance skills that enhance functional, cross-functional, or multifunctional elements.

Proficient in various software systems including CMMS, appropriate CAD systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Experience:
A minimum of three years' experience in a CMMS environment within a maintenance context is required. Proficiency in computer software applications (e.g., MS Excel and Word) is essential. Demonstrated experience with CMMS reporting applications (e.g., Cognos – Data Warehouse) is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses or Registrations:
None required.
Language Skills:
Proficient in English, with strong technical knowledge and writing skills.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to solve problems using a broad range of mathematical techniques.
Reasoning Ability:
Utilize judgment to determine appropriate work methods and procedures in various situations. Capable of independently managing situations and processing work. General knowledge of FDA, EPA, PSM, GMP, and company policies and procedures is required.
