We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team in Eatontown, NJ. As a member of our Global EHS community, you will contribute to the creation of a world-class safety culture and assist in reducing the environmental impacts of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate current EHS programs and activities to ensure compliance with government agency and regulatory requirements.
- Report, monitor, and correct environmental, health, and safety problems/issues.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions to address safety concerns.
- Develop and implement proactive EHS systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain safety training records for all employees.
- Assist in achieving Aptar's environmental and safety goals.
- Administer an environmental, health, and safety audit program.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, or Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastic injection molding and highly automated manufacturing environments.
- Strong working knowledge of EHS regulations and requirements.
- Excellent presentation and training skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
