We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team in Eatontown, NJ. As a member of our Global EHS community, you will contribute to the creation of a world-class safety culture and assist in reducing the environmental impacts of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate current EHS programs and activities to ensure compliance with government agency and regulatory requirements.
  • Report, monitor, and correct environmental, health, and safety problems/issues.
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions to address safety concerns.
  • Develop and implement proactive EHS systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain safety training records for all employees.
  • Assist in achieving Aptar's environmental and safety goals.
  • Administer an environmental, health, and safety audit program.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastic injection molding and highly automated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of EHS regulations and requirements.
  • Excellent presentation and training skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
