SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to support our operations. The primary responsibilities include maintaining an orderly and efficient warehouse environment and processing orders from various departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include:
- Verifying incoming materials against documentation, noting discrepancies and damages.
- Organizing materials in designated storage areas, ensuring compliance with storage protocols.
- Conducting regular inventory checks and reporting any deterioration or damage to stored items.
- Preparing materials for shipment and managing outgoing logistics.
- Assisting in procurement by sourcing materials and optimizing shipping costs.
- Maintaining inventory levels through regular shelf checks and order placements.
- Performing clerical tasks related to material handling, including receiving and issuing supplies.
- Participating in safety initiatives within the warehouse.
- Delivering tools and materials to various job sites as needed.
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and surrounding areas.
- Operating hand or power trucks as required for warehouse duties.
- Maintaining records for hazardous waste storage areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain it promptly.
- Experience in trades such as Electrical or HVAC.
- A flexible work schedule to accommodate occasional after-hours demands.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
