Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Housekeeper on the 2nd shift. This position is crucial in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The schedule for this Housekeeping role is for 2nd Shift - Full-Time, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays.
  • The hourly wage for this shift is $17.45.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning agents to effectively maintain various surfaces, including vinyl, painted, ceramic tile, metal, brick, wood, cork, and concrete, while employing finishing techniques to protect and preserve floor finishes.
  • Ensure the hospital environment remains sanitary, appealing, and orderly.
  • Perform specific cleaning tasks such as dusting horizontal surfaces and maintaining assigned equipment in a clean state, while reporting any necessary repairs for equipment, furniture, buildings, and fixtures.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance are essential.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned equipment and report any required repairs.
  • Adhere to company policies, technical procedures, and safety regulations communicated verbally or in writing.
  • Carry out additional related duties as assigned.
Incentives:

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred 6 to 12 months of documented experience in a housekeeping role.
  • Familiarity with cleaning methods, chemicals, equipment, and safety practices relevant to the Housekeeping/Janitorial industry.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Capability to comprehend service requests, container labels, product information, and instructions on cleaning chemicals and materials.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical examination and annual physicals thereafter.
  • Must be able to pass a NCIC-III background check, including fingerprinting, with annual reviews thereafter.
