  • Maintain Equipment Parts and Supplies: Maintain equipment parts and supplies inventories by checking stock, anticipating needed equipment parts and supplies, and completing purchase requisition forms.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair High-Speed Automation: Troubleshoot and repair high-speed automation bagging, case erecting-sealing, palletizers, shrink wrapper machinery.
  • Remove Defective Parts: Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using overhead hoist crane, hand and power tools.
  • Determine Changes in Dimensional Requirements: Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Unload Incoming Product/Material: Unload incoming product/material for receipt into facility and placement into facility as business demands.
  • Assist in Machine and Building Deep Cleaning: Assist in machine and building deep cleaning and sanitizing as per GMP policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Working Environment: Maintain a safe and clean working environment by performing general housekeeping, complying with GMPs, SQF, and company policies.
  • Function as a Relief to Any and All Production Position: Function as a relief to any and all production position as business demands.
  • Work Overtime: Work overtime as business demands, including monthly training meetings as mandated by OSHA and plant sanitation certifications.
  • Operate Powered Industrial Equipment: Operate powered industrial Forklifts, Scissor Lifts, and Articulating Boom Lifts.
  • Inspect, Maintain, Clean Molds, Dies, and Tooling: Inspect, maintain, clean molds, dies, and tooling.
  • Perform Maintenance-Related Jobs: Perform maintenance-related jobs and assignments qualified to do as necessary to daily business demands as instructed.
  • Assist in Facility Shut Down and Start Up Procedures: Assist in necessary repairs to building, including plumbing, roof, silos, heating and air conditioning systems, dock door and shelters, chiller systems, parking lot, building additions/renovations, equipment modifications and updates, and new equipment installations.
**Qualifications:**
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Mechanical, Pneumatic, Air Compression, Hydraulics, Electrical Systems, and Automation Issues: Take initiative to quickly troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, air compression, hydraulics, electrical systems, and automation issues as they arise.
  • Experience in Troubleshooting Mechanical Breakdowns, Diagnostics, Electrical Systems, and Automated Production Line Maintenance: Experience in troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, diagnostics, electrical systems, and automated production line maintenance.
  • Experience in Reading and Understanding of Electrical Blueprints, Schematic, Mechanical Drawings: Experience in reading and understanding of electrical blueprints, schematic, mechanical drawings.

  • Hydraulics: basic understanding of principles of operation and troubleshooting.

**Education and Experience:**

  • 2 Years' Experience of Manufacturing Experience: 2 years' experience of manufacturing experience to include: maintenance/repair of plant machinery and facility upkeep. Exposure and limited knowledge of welding, troubleshooting of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical controls a plus.
  • Any Mechanical Aptitude Training or Machining Education: Any mechanical aptitude training or machining education is a plus
