Key Responsibilities:
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for:
- Managing pharmacy operations, including workflow processes and personnel management.
- Ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to the 340B Drug Discount Program.
- Supervising pharmacy staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinating with other departments to provide integrated patient care.
- Monitoring pharmacy inventory and managing budgetary constraints.
- Conducting quality assurance activities to enhance patient safety and care.
- Communicating effectively with patients and staff while safeguarding confidentiality.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- An active pharmacist license.
