Institution Superintendent

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is a trauma-informed care agency dedicated to providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities. We oversee a statewide system of supportive services, focusing on ensuring health and safety, access to community participation, and opportunities for meaningful employment.

We are seeking an Institution Superintendent to lead our Cambridge Developmental Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating the center's operations in accordance with state regulations.

1. Leadership and Administration: Develop and implement operational policies, ensure compliance with accreditation and certification requirements, and maintain effective human resources practices.
2. Budget Management: Operate the center within established budgets, monitor expenditures, and prioritize spending.
3. Staff Supervision: Conduct performance evaluations, provide work direction, and approve/disapprove requests for leave.
4. Trauma-Informed Care: Lead, direct, evaluate, and administer Trauma-Informed Care practices within the center.

• Executive leadership experience in a healthcare or social services setting
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills
• Ability to supervise and motivate staff
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles

The estimated salary for this role is $63,836 - $183,673 per year, depending on experience.
