SUMMARY: W R Systems is seeking a Marine Electronics Specialist to conduct shipboard installation, evaluation, calibration, and maintenance of signal intelligence systems aboard naval vessels. Responsibilities include performing pre-installation assessments, updating documentation, providing systems certification assistance, and training naval personnel on the operation and upkeep of signal intelligence systems.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Shipboard equipment installation: update testing, user, and certification documentation.
  • Provide shipboard systems certification assistance.
  • Monitor deliverables.
  • Conduct regression testing, equipment assessment, and repair support.
  • Offer RDT&E transition assistance, configuration management, risk management, process development, workflow development, functional area reporting and tracking, task management, while ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations, security protocols, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Eight (8)+ years of experience in operation and systems analysis of government or commercial electronic systems or inertial navigation equipment, including equipment testing and interpreting field data.
  • Six (6)+ years of experience as a technician in related electronics fields, demonstrating advanced operation and systems analysis of government or commercial electronic systems or inertial navigation equipment.
  • Proficiency in electronics, telecommunications, and computer systems, with a solid understanding of radio frequency signal processing.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
