Job Title: Linguist

Location: Remote US

Duration: 12 months

Compensation: $40-50/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.


Job Summary:

The Linguist plays a crucial role in determining data needs and setting strategic vision for data-based model and product improvements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design test sets and conduct experiments to evaluate system response quality.
  • Develop manual and automated processes for analyzing emergent integrity, security, and privacy trends.
  • Analyze system metrics, such as threat identification per product feature, and remedy pain points.
  • Develop red teaming instructions or guidelines to train internal or external red teams.
  • Plan and lead campaign-style internal red team operations.
  • Communicate metrics and analysis to appropriate teams.
  • Determine conversational design, policy, and product help guidance with cross-functional teams per red teaming feature.


Required Skills:
  • Must have SQL experience and basic scripting knowledge. Test set design and human annotation experience are also required.
  • Linguist or NLP expert with 1-2 years of experience in red teaming or adversarial dataset creation.
  • Knowledge of regular expressions, SQL, and basic scripting.
  • Nice to have: Spanish, French, Italian, AUS/IRE/UK English.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creativity to identify vulnerabilities and develop innovative attack scenarios.
