This role mandates availability for all Eastern Washington University (EWU) football games.

Allied Universal Event Services is in search of Event Staff. This role encompasses responsibilities such as ticket collection, guest welcoming and ushering, and delivering exceptional customer service. Team members are also tasked with managing foot traffic and ensuring the cleanliness and operational efficiency of designated areas.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential tasks necessary to fulfill the minimum job requirements. Additional duties may be assigned.

  • Support all facets of event day preparation and execution.
  • Facilitate appropriate entry into venues, which may include ticket collection and/or scanning, wristband and badge verification, and traffic direction.
  • Exhibit knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to various venues, facilities, and events.
  • Extend a warm, friendly greeting to guests upon their arrival at your designated area, and express sincere gratitude upon concluding interactions.
  • Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their overall entertainment experience.
  • Engage with guests using a friendly tone and natural inflection, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

QUALIFICATIONS: To successfully perform this role, the individual must meet each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test, and may be required to pass a Driver's Record check.
  • Exhibit professionalism, articulate communication, and sound independent judgment.
  • Availability for overtime as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
