Job Title: Travel LPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel LPN to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Travel LPN, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and families, providing high-quality care and support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Travel LPN will be responsible for providing physical care and emotional support to patients and families under the direct supervision of a Nurse Manager and Medical Director. This includes administering medications, performing nursing procedures, and providing patient education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical care and emotional support to patients and families
  • Administer medications and perform nursing procedures
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and support peers and colleagues in maintaining established standards of care
  • Triaging of patient urgent clinical calls and scheduling patient appointments
  • Inform patients of pathology, lab results, and plan of care
  • Utilize In-Basket messages to monitor biopsies and ensure necessary therapies are administered
  • Provide clinical nursing coverage across Medical Dermatology specialty services
  • Obtain prior authorizations for medications as needed
Requirements:
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse required
  • BLS/CPR certification required
  • Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred
  • Graduate of an approved LPN program required
  • 2 years of LPN experience preferred
