Newport Healthcare is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Assist with general facility maintenance, including setup/movement of items, painting, and other tasks as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed to Newport Healthcare standards and in a timely manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two plus years' experience in facilities maintenance.
