We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Nurse Residency Program Coordinator to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of our Nurse Residency Program, providing a comprehensive and supportive environment for new graduate nurses to transition into practice.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Nurse Residency Program that aligns with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership and other stakeholders to design and deliver a high-quality residency program that meets the needs of new graduate nurses.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to new graduate nurses to ensure a successful transition into practice.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including nursing leadership, educators, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Nurse Residency Program, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of a school of nursing or have equivalent experience.
  • Must have less than one year of experience as a registered nurse.
  • Current Florida RN license required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
