We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, coordinating care planning with other disciplines, and synthesizing patient data to develop outcome-driven plans. You will also be expected to safely and independently administer prescribed treatments, medications, and nursing interventions based on assessment and plan of care.
Responsibilities:- Provides direct patient care to assigned patients, including administering medications, treatments, and nursing interventions.
- Coordinates care planning with other disciplines, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
- Synthesizes patient data to develop outcome-driven plans, including identifying patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit, providing ongoing assessment and care.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participates in performance improvement efforts, including data collection and analysis, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- Experience working in an emergency services or critical care setting.
- Certification in a relevant specialty, such as ACLS or PALS.
