Job Overview

Position Summary

This role involves working Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the possibility of overtime, including weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities:

The individual will be responsible for operating and maintaining various packaging equipment such as filling scales, sewing lines, and conveyors. The primary duties include:

  • Accurately filling products into bags while monitoring net weight and ensuring proper sealing.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety of packaging materials.
  • Ensuring the quality of products by verifying counts, appearance, and packaging integrity throughout the production process.
  • Manually stacking and wrapping finished products for distribution.
  • Documenting weight checks, label verifications, and lot code information on products.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Basic mathematical skills are required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English is necessary.
  • Ability to climb heights of up to 30 feet.
  • Capability to lift weights of up to 100 pounds.
  • Willingness to perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and turning throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions for extended periods.
  • Willingness to stand and walk for long durations.
  • Readiness to undergo training for basic machine maintenance tasks.
