Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet all guests with a smile and professional demeanor, taking the time to understand their needs and preferences.
2. Ensure menus are always available and easily accessible, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
3. Develop a thorough knowledge of our banquet rooms, including their locations and daily events, enabling you to provide accurate information to our guests.
4. Strategically deploy guests to optimize server workloads, guaranteeing seamless service delivery.
5. Foster open communication with servers, ensuring they have everything necessary to maintain exceptional service levels, even during periods of high volume.
6. Possess the ability to swiftly call for assistance when needed, upholding our commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
7. When a wait is unavoidable, engage with guests professionally, collecting names and party sizes to efficiently manage our waiting list.
8. Consistently adhere to our established steps of service, using standardized verbiage to ensure consistency and quality in our interactions with guests.
9. Maintain the integrity of server stations, promoting efficiency and organization throughout the dining area.
10. Develop a deep understanding of our menu offerings, empowering you to answer any questions or concerns our guests may have.
11. Process takeout orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of our signature dishes.
12. Complete side work duties diligently, contributing to the overall tidiness and attractiveness of our dining space.
13. Implement our table numbering system effectively, streamlining the check-in process for our guests.
14. Familiarize yourself with our expected tabletop components, guaranteeing a polished and refined ambiance for every meal.
15. Collaborate with the F&B Manager and Supervisor to fulfill any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned to your role.
Requirements
• Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors
• Capacity to think and communicate clearly, organize and prioritize under pressure
• Basic knowledge of our menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques, as well as familiarity with property details and upcoming events
• Knowledgeable about basic sanitation practices
• Proficient in computer operations and ordering procedures
• Ability to quickly absorb large amounts of information: service procedures, menus, and floor plans
• Skilled at multitasking and managing competing demands
• Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality, with the ability to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during an eight-hour shift
• Capability to lift, balance, and carry large serving trays weighing up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to lift trays, soiled dish bins, etc., within a reasonable weight range
