We are currently expanding our service department and have openings for entry-level lube technicians. No prior experience is required, as we will equip you with the necessary training to thrive as a valued member of our award-winning team.
Key Responsibilities of the Entry-Level Automotive Technician
- Conducts basic maintenance tasks on primarily Toyota vehicles, including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, multi-point inspections, and the replacement of filters and wiper blades.
- Adheres to company policies regarding attendance, work ethic, and safety, while complying with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Ensures customer vehicles are kept clean and operated safely, while resetting maintenance reminders as needed.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- No previous experience or training is necessary; we provide a blend of in-person and online training.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Completion of manufacturer online training modules within one month of employment is mandatory to achieve certification as a Toyota Maintenance Technician.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend verbal instructions and communications.
Essential Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Successfully pass pre-employment screenings, including drug tests and background checks.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the automotive field.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Physical capability to work around vehicles, tools, and delicate equipment.
- Must be able to navigate the shop environment, including climbing stairs and ladders, lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and positioning oneself appropriately to perform vehicle repairs.
