Mixer Truck Operator

United Companies, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled Mixer Truck Driver to join our team. As a Mixer Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck equipped with an auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites.
Key Responsibilities- Comply with all Department of Transportation requirements, including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
- Inspect the truck daily, completing the Driver Check-off Sheet to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
- Drive the truck to the job site, unloading in a safe manner.
- Back the truck under the batching or loading hopper to receive concrete.
- Climb the ladder to inspect the drum for cleanliness and consistency.
- Adjust the trailer axle pressure based on the load weight.
- Follow written and verbal instructions, including city street maps, and complete necessary paperwork.
- Maneuver the truck to deliver concrete to the point of delivery.
- Assemble concrete chutes and move hand and foot controls.
- Clean the truck after loading and delivery to prevent concrete from hardening.
- Spray surfaces with acid compound to clean the truck and drum.
- Read, understand, and comply with the Safety Manual and Employee Manual.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
