Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiation detection, measuring, and recording devices, as well as mechanical accessories.
  • Use radiation shielding materials and devices to ensure patient safety.
  • Work with computers to perform tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology and/or Nuclear Medicine.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Licensed as required by the West Virginia State Board of Radiology.
  • Previous work experience in clinical nuclear medicine is desired.
