This is a full-time position requiring the operation of assigned scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, guiding patients through MRI procedures with kindness and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Safety and Preparation: Screen patients for contraindications, use patient identifiers, and prepare patients for MRI procedures.
  • Procedure Execution: Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision, providing patient support and adjusting scan parameters as needed.
  • Quality and Accuracy: Maintain accurate patient records, follow physicians' orders, and adhere to safety regulations and ACR toolkit requirements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and disinfect equipment after each use and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Department Support: Assist with software upgrades, maintain imaging protocol manuals, and monitor medical supply inventory.
