Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team at Inspira Health Network. As a Histology Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing microscopic tissue slides from surgical specimens for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embed tissue samples and prepare slides for routine Histology and Frozen Sectioning
  • Operate automated special staining, Immunohistochemical, and In Situ hybridization staining platforms
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and maintain established departmental competencies
Requirements
  • Associate of Science degree in laboratory medicine or related field, or equivalent training experience
  • 1-3 years clinical laboratory experience preferred
  • ASCP or equivalent certification required within 12 months of hire date
