About This Role

At HomeGoods, we're always discovering new ways to make a house a home. As a Sales Floor Team Member, you'll play a crucial role in helping our customers find the perfect items to enhance their living spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and offering personalized recommendations.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the sales floor and surrounding areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Process Transactions: Accurately ring up customer purchases and returns, handle cash and credit transactions, and provide change as needed.
  • Merchandising: Participate in visual merchandising efforts by maintaining product displays, rotating stock, and replenishing shelves.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, resolve customer complaints, and maintain a positive store culture.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and responsive to changing business needs, including adapting to new products, promotions, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
