At Johns Hopkins Medicine, we are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead our team of Medical Assistants in providing high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and guiding the Medical Assistant staff to ensure the provision of safe and effective quality care in an efficient and productive manner.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of work experience in an acute care or primary care environment, with supervisory experience preferred. A Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (NCCT, RMA, AAMA, RCMAS, CCMA or NAHTR) certification is required, along with valid CPR certification. Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and orientation of new Medical Assistant team members, including training and competency assessments.
  • Provide objective feedback to Medical Assistants regarding performance expectations and follow up to ensure compliance.
  • Support the practice leadership in the day-to-day clinical operations and management of the practice site.
