Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Brightspeed. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting engineering and local field OPS with material needs, order creation, and resolution. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and managing local engineering network materials ordered for high-value projects and managing pack & hold inventories at each location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating a forklift (Certification required) to offload reels, crates, conduit lifts, palletized material.
  • Performing regular audits of material levels to ensure critical items are stocked and low usage items are reduced.
  • Maintaining Network Jobs Inventory in SAP Track and conducting monthly audits on said inventory.
  • Preparing material and equipment shipment requests- BOL's for shipment - returns, recycling, cable reels, trash & scrap roll-offs.
  • Surveying shelves weekly prior to placing orders.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehousing and inventory systems.
  • Must have OSHA approved forklift license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Power Point applications.
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical activity but not limited to lifting/moving 100 lbs.

Compensation:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Salary Estimate: Based on market research, we estimate this role requires a salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
