Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Drivers: Ride on the vehicle and assist drivers in providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services to customers on designated residential routes.
  • Load and Unload Waste: Safely load and unload waste from the vehicle, as well as carry bags and containers to the vehicle for disposal.
  • Maintain Vehicle Cleanliness: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle, as well as the work area, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Interact with Customers: Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor Waste: Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste and take necessary actions to prevent contamination.
  • Perform Pre- and Post-Operation Inspections: Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle in accordance with company policy and report any safety issues on standard reports.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • Ability to Work in a Team Environment: Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability and Punctuality: Must be able to arrive on time and be reliable in meeting deadlines.
