Job Summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead our EV Charging Station projects along the East Coast. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing commercial electric vehicle charging station projects, including utility interconnection and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead project teams to perform engineering studies and designs using recognized industry standards and regulatory-compliant approaches.
  • Supervise and lead project teams to perform field evaluation and assessment of potential electric vehicle charging, battery energy storage, and other energy projects.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior engineering staff.
  • Pursue new work opportunities through established client relationships, market sector awareness, and competitive pursuits.
  • Participate in professional organizations and technical committees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Electrical PE required.
  • Experience in designing and developing commercial electric vehicle charging station projects, including utility interconnection and coordination.
  • Experience with designing battery energy storage systems and/or solar photovoltaic projects is a plus.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, including public presentations.
  • Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, team leadership, and mentoring.
  • Possesses high ethical standards, committed to producing high-quality work, with a commitment to teamwork, respect, and integrity.
