Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in our clinics at the Southampton shelter, Transitions shelter, and other sites as dictated by program needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, ensuring that all needs are met in conformance with established policies and procedures.
- Conduct accurate assessments and documentation, reporting to appropriate personnel as indicated.
- Administer medications and treatments to patients, documenting per policy and observing for adverse reactions.
- Update and maintain accurate treatment records, flow sheets, and vaccine administration, documenting per policy and observing for adverse reactions.
- Provide triage and nursing assessment of walk-in and scheduled patients as directed.
- Commonwealth of Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred
- Experience with underserved populations preferred
- The compensation starts at $35.22 per hour and increases based on years of experience.
