Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manuals to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Install and maintain electrical equipment, power distribution, lighting, signals, and alarms to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair relay logic circuits, starters, motors, electrical metering devices, and electrical measuring devices to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Fabricate and install metallic and non-metallic conduit, buss duct, and wire raceway to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution.
  • Design and build control panels to meet specific electrical requirements.
  • Draw schematics to ensure accurate electrical system design and installation.
  • Lubricate electrical motors to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Use multimeters, meggers, amp probes, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other electrical/electronic test equipment to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
  • Update and maintain knowledge of the National Electrical Code to ensure compliance and optimal electrical system design.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic controls and circuits to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair circuit boards and electronic components as needed to ensure optimal electrical system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair programmable controllers, NC, CNC, radio-controlled devices, and DNC machine tools and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Contain and clean up hazardous materials to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adapt new methods and procedures as required to ensure optimal electrical system performance and efficiency.
  • Assist other skilled classifications as needed to ensure seamless electrical system operation.
  • Perform predictive maintenance checks to identify potential electrical issues and prevent downtime.
  • Operate production and non-production equipment and machine tools as required to ensure optimal electrical system performance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections, repairs, and adjustments to ensure optimal electrical system performance and efficiency.
  • Prepare written predictive maintenance and preventive maintenance reports to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance.
  • Instruct trainees as needed to ensure knowledge transfer and optimal electrical system performance.
  • Requisition replacement parts and materials as needed to ensure optimal electrical system performance.
  • Participate in additional training as related to electrical system operation and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Stock parts and materials needed for electrical system maintenance and repair.
  • Operate material handling equipment and man lifts as instructed to ensure safe and efficient electrical system maintenance and repair.
  • Maintain equipment and working areas in a clean and orderly manner to ensure safe and efficient electrical system operation.
  • Perform electrical work as needed to ensure optimal electrical system performance and efficiency.
  • Perform all duties in the highest standard of productivity and quality to ensure optimal electrical system performance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Four years of verifiable experience in a manufacturing environment.
