Cardiovascular Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Specialist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a Cardiovascular Specialist, you will play a critical role in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting in procedures such as right and left heart catheterization, PCIs, and STEMIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor cases and understand x-ray system functionality, including panning table and radiation safety.
  • Manage access site, including proper removal of sheath and assessment of hematoma.
  • Assist in scrub role for procedures, including cardiac ablations and device implants.
  • Communicate effectively with team, patients, families, and medical staff.
Requirements:
  • Licensed AEMT or National Registered Paramedic (NRP) or graduate of accredited school of radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology.
  • Registered as an ARRT with post-primary category of cardiac interventional radiography or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES preferred.
