Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Jericho Road Ministries, Inc. as a Primary Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses in a primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign checks, medical history recording, and other relevant tasks to support providers and care for patients.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to provide excellent clinical care and work collaboratively with medical assistants as assigned.
  • Administer vaccinations, medications, and perform laboratory tests as prescribed by medical providers.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, testing, or treatments for various visit types, including well-child visits, adult physicals, sick visits, and hospital follow-ups.
  • Perform EKG and spirometry, and conduct telephonic communication with patients regarding test results and follow-up care needs.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current NYS state licensure as a LPN.
  • Direct experience in primary care is preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation between sites is required.
  • Current CPR and Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) is required.
