The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive care to a designated group of patients during a specified timeframe.
- Utilizing the nursing process and current best practices to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of nursing activities.
- Conducting initial assessments upon patient admission and formulating appropriate care plans.
- Implementing and modifying care plans based on ongoing evaluations.
- Ensuring patient and staff safety by identifying and addressing safety hazards.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, patients, and families to foster a collaborative environment.
- Participating in professional development and sharing knowledge with peers.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.
Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Certifications:
- Current Illinois state RN License in good standing.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
