Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a light vehicle, such as a box truck, to deliver and pick up tires at customer locations.
  • Unload and load tires of varying weights, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
  • Collect payments and bills from customers, maintaining accurate records and submitting them to the end of the route.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate authorities.
  • Document goods delivered or loaded, verifying inventory loads against shipping papers.
  • Maintain accurate records, including vehicle logs, cargo records, and billing statements, in accordance with regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency required; commercial driving and/or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record, and ability to qualify for an employer-provided DOT Medical card.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

The Delivery Driver will work in a fast-paced warehouse and transportation environment, with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. The truck may or may not be air-conditioned/heated seasonally.
