Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Goodwill Industries. As a key member of our Donation Center team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to donors, processing donations, and maintaining a clean and organized donation center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Donation Processing: Greet and assist donors, process donations, and provide tax receipts as needed.
  • Customer Service: Offer friendly and courteous service to donors, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
  • Donation Center Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized donation center, including sorting and placing donations in the appropriate containers.
  • Additional Duties: Assist with opening and closing the donation center, secure the center when leaving, and notify the Transportation Supervisor of large furniture items or early pickup needs.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to transfer donated goods from the donor's vehicle to the donation center, regularly lift up to 50 pounds, and carry, push, pull, or otherwise move and organize merchandise on a regular basis.
