Our strategically located Centers of Excellence provide an unparalleled customer experience, ensuring high-quality outcomes through advanced automated technologies and in-house engineering expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare molds and inserts ahead of the Master Production Schedule.
- Efficiently remove and install molds of various sizes and types based on production requirements.
- Utilize overhead cranes for mold setting.
- Set up ancillary equipment necessary for production, including conveyors, thermolators, hot runner controllers, and secondary operation assemblies.
- Clean and apply protective spray to molds post-job completion.
- Transport scheduled molds from storage to the production area.
- Return completed molds to storage after production runs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on platens and maintain accurate logs.
- Refurbish water hoses on the mold setup cart.
- Maintain the cleaning cart as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Plastics Injection Molding, particularly in mold changes and setups.
- Fundamental understanding of Plastic Injection Molding processes.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and accuracy in task execution.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Reliable and self-motivated.
- Able to engage effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, talking, and listening.
- Frequent reaching, climbing, lifting, and stooping may be necessary.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential for tasks such as keyboarding and assembling small components.
- Repetitive hand motions and extended periods of standing are expected.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly.
