Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Financial Advisor (AFA) to work with our senior advisors and team to provide financial plans, financial advice, and reviews to assist clients in achieving their financial goals.

The AFA will support sales team members to ensure advice and services exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work with the financial advisory team to actively manage client relationships, client service, and Wealth Enhancement Group's planning-based standard of identity.
  2. Assist the Financial Advisors during client meetings and with follow-up.
  3. Take meeting notes and promptly enter into CRM-Salesforce.
  4. Present financial advice or plan to clients with the Financial Advisor.
  5. Meet with clients to obtain additional planning information or to clarify/confirm information provided.
  6. Analyze clients' current investments and insurance policies.
  7. Place trades and provide account management.
  8. Prepare annual reviews as required by the team.
  9. Systematize the review process utilizing the CRM-Salesforce system.
  10. Gather data for client reviews and review client files for additional sales opportunities.
  11. Create reviews utilizing the Wealth Enhancement Group review system.
  12. Monitor percentage of clients that were reviewed in the last calendar year.
  13. Create financial plans for clients as required by the team.
  14. Analyze clients' financial data in light of their financial goals.
  15. Meet or call clients to obtain any additional planning information or clarify/confirm information provided.
  16. Prepare client information to present to the Roundtable, if required.
  17. Work effectively and professionally with the Financial Planning department, if required.
  18. Investment operations.
  19. Perform daily update of allocation models and overlap of client holdings.
  20. Assist with checking portfolio holdings for variance from target holding list.
  21. Recommend trades to bring portfolio into target allocation ranges.
  22. Prepares account transactions, trades, deposits, withdrawals, RMDs, etc.
  23. Gather reporting on Alternative Investment holdings for clients.
  24. Participate in Wealth Enhancement Group trainings, educational events, coaching programs, and proficient in advisor/client facing technology.
  25. Adhere to the Wealth Enhancement Group's Corporate Communication Strategy and remain in good compliance standing.

Requirements

Requires a 4-year degree; business, finance, or economics preferred.

Series 65 or willingness to obtain within 90 days required.

Advanced designation or desire to obtain preferred (CFP, CPA, MBA, etc.).

2+ years of experience within the wealth management industry.

Ability to prepare client reviews and assist in meetings with senior advisors.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both oral & written).

Ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Engagement in the community.
