Job Title: Speech/Language Pathologist

We are seeking a licensed and certified speech/language pathologist to join our team at Scotland Health Care System.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and conducting speech/language therapy programs within our healthcare system.

This will involve implementing physician referrals, performing necessary evaluations, establishing appropriate plans of treatment, and directing patient treatment in selected tasks to improve or otherwise enhance functional communication skills according to the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human growth and development through the lifespan of the patient and be able to meet the needs of and provide care to these patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing speech/language therapy programs
  • Conducting evaluations and assessments
  • Developing treatment plans
  • Directing patient treatment
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams

Requirements:

  • License and certification as a speech/language pathologist
  • Strong understanding of human growth and development
  • Ability to work with patients of all ages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
