Position Overview

ATC Healthcare Services - Metro Detroit is in search of Master’s level Psychologists to join our team in a correctional environment.

Compensation: $60 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess referrals for therapeutic interventions and services through comprehensive case history analysis.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions for incarcerated individuals.
  • Manage cases effectively, coordinating all therapeutic activities to align with the inmates' rehabilitation goals.
  • Provide a limited scope of individual therapy as per the established treatment plans.
  • Conduct needs assessments for inmates preparing for re-entry into society prior to their release.
  • Complete necessary documentation for the Offender Management System.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled treatment team meetings to diagnose issues and develop treatment strategies.
  • Draft and review treatment plans at least biannually to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the inmates.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling is required.
  • Must possess an active license to practice in the state of Michigan.

Work Schedule:

  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday
