Position Overview
The University of La Verne's PsyD program in Clinical Psychology invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position to begin with the 2024-2025 academic year. The position is core faculty in our APA-accredited PsyD program in clinical psychology.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor students in clinical psychology courses
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles
- Develop and maintain a clinical practice
- Participate in departmental and university service
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology
- Completion of, or presently in process of completing, an APA-accredited doctoral program and APA-accredited internship
- Demonstrated teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Training or expertise in at least one of the following areas: assessment, biological bases of behavior, consultation, evidence-based practice, human development/lifespan
- Completed, or presently in the process of completing, post-doctoral hours towards licensure
- Applicants who have obtained licensure as a Psychologist
- Applicants with graduate teaching experience
