Position Overview

As an Accounting Professional at EO Johnson Business Technologies, you will engage with financial operations, manage accounts payable, and ensure accurate account reconciliations within a dynamic team setting. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing administrative processes, fostering greater organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the accounts payable cycle, which includes processing invoices, setting up vendors, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Participates in the month-end general ledger activities and performs account reconciliations.
  • Prepares and reconciles commission reports, addressing any discrepancies with relevant departments.
  • Assists various departments with accounting functions, procedures, and financial reporting.
  • Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the company's data management system.
  • Reconciles bank and company financial accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies as necessary.
  • Processes and verifies equipment rebates and credits.
  • Ensures the confidentiality of company information.
  • Oversees all aspects of sales and use tax statements.
  • Contributes to finance projects, reporting requirements, and process enhancements.
  • Maintains fixed asset records, manages depreciation, and oversees personal property tax reporting.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Business ERP systems.
  • Understanding of accounting principles related to data classification, recording, and summarization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building rapport.
  • Experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
