Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Tech to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment.
Responsibilities:- Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedures
- Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
- Maintain equipment, examine machines for proper functioning, and sterilize rooms
- Start IVs, administer contrast media per orders and protocol
- Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to procedures
- Follow hospital safety rules and procedures
- One to three years' experience as an MRI Tech preferred
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
