El Gerente de Ingeniería de Calidad de Proveedores es responsable de dirigir el equipo de Ingeniería de Calidad de Proveedores, que supervisa la interfaz estratégica de calidad con los proveedores, incluyendo la incorporación de proveedores, supervisión de proveedores, resolución de problemas importantes y desarrollo de calidad de proveedores.

Responsabilidades del Puesto:

  • Dirigir el grupo de Ingeniería de Calidad de Proveedores (gestión del rendimiento, desarrollo de empleados, compromiso de empleados, contratación, etc.).
  • Colaborar con Compras, Ingeniería de Diseño y Control de Calidad según sea necesario para planificar y ejecutar estrategias de cadena de suministro como la doble fuente, mitigación de aranceles, uso de distribuidores y apoyo a proveedores en apoyo de NPI.
  • Participar en negociaciones contractuales relacionadas con la calidad con los proveedores.
  • Desarrollar e implementar materiales de recursos, herramientas, sistemas y procesos relacionados con el Desarrollo de Proveedores.
  • Mejorar y refinar los métodos y herramientas de Calidad de Proveedores (evaluaciones, Revisiones de Calidad Trimestrales, Auditorías de Aplicación, auditorías virtuales, herramientas de LiveSource, Sistema de Monitoreo de Riesgos).
  • Desarrollar y mejorar los procesos y sistemas de trabajo de SQE.
  • Desarrollar y mantener un conjunto de métricas de rendimiento de sitios de proveedores.
  • Monitorear los resultados de las métricas y realizar los ajustes necesarios para cumplir con los objetivos del grupo.
  • Proporcionar retroalimentación a los proveedores sobre su rendimiento de calidad.
  • Facilitar/gestionar solicitudes de cambio que impacten la calidad de los proveedores.
  • Determinar las asignaciones de proveedores para asegurar una carga de trabajo equilibrada y eficiente.
  • Gestionar el presupuesto de viajes del grupo – aproximadamente $100k/año.
  • Desarrollar y cumplir con las secciones relacionadas con SQE de nuestro Plan Estratégico de QA a 10 – 15 años.

Naturaleza y Alcance:

  • Establece la dirección general de la función de Calidad de Proveedores.
  • Trabaja para lograr un conjunto amplio de objetivos mutuamente acordados.
  • Gestiona el grupo de Ingeniería de Calidad de Proveedores (contratación, disciplina y despidos).

Conocimientos y Habilidades:

  • Comprensión profunda y detallada de los procesos y sistemas de calidad, y la capacidad de articular lo mismo.
  • Buenas habilidades técnicas – experiencia y conocimiento en una o más de las ciencias – química, materiales, física (dispositivos eléctricos, mecánica, termodinámica) o matemáticas.
  • Fuerte conocimiento de procesos a través de una amplia base de tecnologías de fabricación – electrónica, electromecánica, metales, plásticos, pcbs, doblado, conformado, ensamblaje, etc.
  • Excelentes habilidades de liderazgo; capaz de visualizar, desarrollar, dirigir, gestionar, delegar responsabilidad y autoridad y motivar a una organización.
  • Habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas demostradas.
  • Excelentes habilidades de gestión de proyectos.
  • Fuertes habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita con capacidad para comunicar ideas y estrategias a la alta dirección.
  • Fuerte comprensión de estadísticas y pensamiento estadístico.
  • Habilidades de observación y toma de decisiones sólidas; buen juicio.
  • Fuertes habilidades de negociación y gestión de relaciones.
  • Habilidades informáticas/productivas – MS Office – Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Multilingüe es un plus.

Experiencia:

  • Mínimo de 8 años en calidad con preferencia por auditorías sustanciales y variadas dentro de un entorno de fabricación a gran escala.
  • Más de 5 años de experiencia en liderazgo.
  • Experiencia en Lean / Six Sigma.

Educación:

  • Título universitario en Ciencias o en el campo de la Ingeniería.
  • La certificación CQE sería un activo.

Requisitos Físicos / Entorno de Trabajo:

  • Debe poder realizar responsabilidades esenciales con o sin adaptaciones razonables.
  • Entorno de planta hasta un 20% del tiempo. La disponibilidad y capacidad para viajar es imprescindible. De lo contrario, principalmente un entorno de oficina.
