Job Title: Mechanic / Technical Writer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled mechanic with excellent writing abilities to join our team as a Mechanic / Technical Writer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining client Service Manuals and Kit Installation Instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and track engineering changes with client products to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with design teams to gain a deep understanding of product design and functionality.
  • Disassemble and assemble equipment to identify safe operation and repair processes.
  • Update and write product support literature to provide clear and concise instructions.
  • Conduct hands-on work disassembling and assembling parts and components, hydraulic hoses, electrical harnesses, cabs, seats, track systems, etc.
  • Research and review Engineering Change Notices to identify changes needed to be updated in manuals.
  • Input content updating manuals using required publication software.
