Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the treatment of cancer patients, administering radiation therapy to help patients achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiation therapy to patients with cancer, ensuring accurate and safe treatment delivery.
  • Perform simulations, treatment planning, and special procedures to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities to detect equipment malfunctions and take appropriate action.
  • Perform weekly chart checks to ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements
  • IEMA License and ARRT certification required.
  • Completion of a radiation therapy program and a minimum of a two-year associate degree or certificate required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Previous experience in radiation therapy strongly preferred.
