Salary InformationAs a Registered Nurse in our Medical Unit, you can expect an estimated annual salary of $110,000-$140,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionAs a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient-centered care in line with our department's standards and state regulations. You will work collaboratively with medical providers and colleagues to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care to each patient.
- Assess patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in patients' medical records.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to medication.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about patients' medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse license and diploma
- At least 6 months of medical/surgical experience
