Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center Bedford/Nashua. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their full potential by providing high-quality care and creating personalized treatment plans to promote optimal movement and function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals and needs, and develop and implement cost-effective treatment plans to improve clients' mobility and reduce the need for medications and surgery.
  • Program Development: Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs and goals, promoting healthy lifestyles by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Consult and practice with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, and motivate patients during treatment to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Evaluation and Documentation: Evaluate treatment effects and monitor progress to make informed decisions, and document patient care services to ensure accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education and Expertise: Intensive education and clinical expertise in physical therapy, with a graduate degree or greater in physical therapy.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with patients and colleagues, and a drive to continually learn and grow in the field of physical therapy.
  • Licensure and Certification: Valid license to practice physical therapy, and current knowledge of treatment practices and techniques.
