Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Kafka Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team at Chabez Tech. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing Kafka environments and implementing best practices for performance and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Kafka infrastructure with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Utilize Confluent for Kubernetes (CFK) for building and managing the Confluent Platform on Kubernetes or OpenShift for at least 3 years.
  • Implement Kafka security protocols, including SASL_SSL, and demonstrate a solid understanding of RBAC (role-based access control), ACLs, and related security measures.
  • Manage and configure ClusterLink and Replicators for efficient data replication and management.
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining Active-Passive clusters using CFK.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring the reliability and security of our Kafka systems.
