Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at the Denver Health ENT Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with various clinical and administrative tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Provide nursing support with invasive procedures, medication administration, and other medically related tasks within your scope of knowledge.
  • Coordinate clerical information necessary to provide patient care, including referrals, appointments, and test results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, employees, physicians, and the public to ensure seamless patient flow and care.
  • Maintain a safe environment by practicing sound safety and infection control practices according to agency policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited program in Medical Assisting or an accredited program of Licensed Practical Nursing with an active LPN license.
  • Completion of a 160-hour Externship or 6 months of direct patient care experience in an outpatient setting.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association certification.
