Salary and BenefitsThis full-time position offers a competitive salary package with an estimated annual compensation range of $120,000-$180,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will enjoy an excellent benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, continuing education opportunities, and a signing bonus of up to $45,000 for a three-year commitment.
Job DescriptionAs a CRNA at McLeod Health Loris, your primary responsibility will be to administer anesthesia care for scheduled, urgent, and emergent surgeries. You will work closely with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide top-notch patient care, ensuring a smooth surgical experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for various surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-operative patient assessments and explain anesthesia plans to patients and their families
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide instruction and education to affiliating student nurse anesthetists
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance anesthesia services
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and a recognized program in nurse anesthesia
- A current license as a registered nurse in South Carolina
- Certification as a CRNA by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
- The ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
