Key Responsibilities:- Accountable for upholding the Mount Carmel Service Excellence Behavior Standards, fostering a culture of respect and accountability among colleagues, physicians, and volunteers.
- Creates a supportive and healing environment that prioritizes patient and family-centered care throughout their healthcare journey.
- Leads and embraces necessary changes within the department.
- Supervises departmental staff, collaborates with management to ensure 24-hour accountability, and participates in the hiring, orientation, and evaluation of team members.
- Establishes work schedules and assigns daily tasks while engaging in direct patient care as required.
- Builds and maintains effective relationships with staff, other departments, and medical professionals.
- Promotes a Culture of Safety by adhering to established policies and procedures to prevent workplace injuries and ensure positive outcomes for both colleagues and patients.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN is mandatory.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrates effective planning, organization, and management of patient care, including the ability to delegate and supervise team members.
