- POSITION OVERVIEW
- Responsible for assisting in the transportation of patients across various departments including Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, CT/MRI, and Diagnostic Radiology on a daily basis. This role involves aiding patients in transitioning from their beds to examination areas and back, as well as supporting administrative tasks as required (such as scheduling appointments and welcoming patients).
- ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND CRITERIA
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Must possess a Certified Nursing Assistant certification from the state of ND.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required during the orientation period.
- Educational Background
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience Background
- Preferred experience of at least 6 months as a CNA.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with the public in a safe and professional manner.
- Specialized Skills or Training
- Knowledge of body mechanics, techniques for transferring and lifting, transport protocols, and confidentiality/HIPAA regulations.
- Proficient in multitasking and managing various priorities effectively.
